Long time ago I was working for a big corportion. I was still young and one of the aspect of my job which I loved the most that time was that I had a chance to travel a lot. I really enjoyed the fact that I can spend 1 month in Berlin , 1 week in Paris, and another month in Chicago. I felt that it was category of travelling for free. Normally, I was living in London and I loved it. I had my apartment there, my colleagues, family and everything else that was making me happy and what I needed to totally rest after so many business trips.

And then one day, completely unexpectedly, I have received this email that I was selected to open the office in a new country. At first I wasn’t totally aware what it meant for me. I was thinking that it meant just more short travels. But then it turned out that I needed to move to Poland. Not only take trips to Poland but absolutely moved there. I gotta admit that I didn’t know what to think. I have to also admit that I wasn’t very happy about that. I not only had to leave on London and move to other country, but also to one of those Eastern European countries, I had never been to earlier. But made up my mind to give it a try. This was supposed to be only for 2 years so I convinced myself that this was not that tragic after all.

So you may be wondering how it happened that I have been in Poland 30 years longer? The answer is pretty simple. I simply fall in love with this country. It wasn’t love at first. It didn’t happen at once. It took a while. But as soon as I arrived I noticed that men and females are amazing. Even though they do not smile on the street and they are rather quiet, they are very helpful always when you need their help. You can be sure that if anything is going wrong, there is always a person who is going to react and help you. I also love Polish women.

They are extremely charming. I believe that it is rather pointless to write that my wife is also Polish? Moreover, I fall in love with Polish culture. I really like that they are so close with family’ members and they spend all of those amazing traditional holidays together. Obviously, sometimes there were also though moments. For instance, when I couldn’t speak Polish and nobody else was speaking English. However then I made a decision to sign for polish course warsaw and now I am fluent- more info: polish course warsaw! So as you can see – it was not always easy, but this was unquestionably worth it.
